To create AI pictures on a Samsung Galaxy device, you can use the Photo Assist feature in the Gallery app:
Open the Gallery app
Select a photo
Tap the Photo Assist icon, which looks like stars
Choose an AI feature:
Sketch to image: Draw a sketch on top of the photo to create a photorealistic object
Portrait studio: Convert a portrait into a cartoon character
Generative edit: Delete, move, or resize an object in the photo
Select your desired style or options
Tap Generate
You can also enable the Drawing assist feature in Settings Galaxy AI.
Galaxy AI features are available for free on supported Samsung Galaxy devices until the end of 2025. The One UI 6.1 software update is required to use Galaxy AI features on some devices.
