Pokemon Competitive Singles has just seen the tragic fall of Garchomp. This Pokemon has been a competitive mainstay since its debut in Gen 4, where it was ranked in Ubers. It has been a solid OU Pokemon from Gen 5-8, and remained OU in Gen 9 for quite some time. Though as of the recent Tier shift, Garchomp has fallen to UU for the first time in its long career. How could this happen? Why did other great Pokemon fall alongside it? Let's take a look.

Gholdengo is a Pokemon made of pure gold. He must have done some online business management courses to accumulate all that wealth. Or perhaps he might want to learn how to make money playing video games on YouTube. In any case, he's a powerful metagame force, with absolutely no interest in online game development schools.
