Oof, one of my absolute favorite berries here in Cascadia, Evergreen Huckleberries are a tasty late summer and fall trail treat! They're easy to ID from their evergreen, egg shaped, pointy and finely toothed leaves, with clusters of small blackish purple huckleberries growing in abundance on the underside of their branches. A favorite amongst birds, bears and humans alike!
