Jeep India has just introduced exciting updates to the Meridian lineup, making it more competitive and attractive in the SUV market. The changes include new variants, additional ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) technology, and a fresh pricing strategy that significantly lowers the starting price while also offering premium features on the higher-end models.

New Variants:
The Meridian now has a new base variant called the Longitude, which comes with a 5-seater configuration and a massive boot space, making it more affordable and practical for families who don’t need a third row of seats. In addition, the Longitude Plus and the Overland variants are available with a 7-seater layout for those who need more seating.
ADAS Technology:
The top-end Overland variant gets the much-anticipated ADAS system, bringing features like Intelligent Speed Assist to the Meridian. This feature automatically reduces speed if you're over the limit, ensuring a safer driving experience. ADAS is available on other premium Jeep models like the Wrangler, and now it’s a major selling point for the Meridian.
Features Breakdown:
Longitude (Base Variant): 5-seater, semi-digital instrument cluster, 6 airbags, no panoramic sunroof.
Longitude Plus: Offers a panoramic sunroof, wireless charger, and leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Limited (O) Variant: Gets Alexa integration with Uconnect-connected car tech.
Overland (Top Variant): Equipped with ADAS, making it the most feature-rich version yet!
Pricing and Strategy:
Jeep is looking to aggressively price the Meridian during the festive season, aiming to position it as a more affordable yet premium option compared to the Tata Safari and Mahindra XUV700. With a price dip in the base model and added features in the top variant, Jeep is targeting a wider audience.
