In her second time competing at the Prince William County spelling bee against winners from other area schools, Peyton DeMichele, seventh grader at Ronald Wilson Reagan Middle School, claimed the championship with her successful spelling of the word “theomachy.” She heads to National Harbor in Maryland in early June to compete at the Scripps National Spelling Bee.
