Many students think about character, themes, context and setting. This is a slow way to learn. Instead, write about the author's purpose.
If you think instead about the author's purpose, you will always have something relevant to say about character, themes, context and setting.
You will also learn how to write about different and contradictory to interpretations.
This is a brilliant way to think about Romeo and Juliet and any other text.
