I scanned the underside of my engine using the Ferret Pro 3D scanner from Creality. Because the Ferrett Pro scanner has a 0.1mm accuracy, designing in CAD was a breeze. Creality also makes 3D printers, Laser Engravers and Cutters, as well as other Scanner Models. In this video, "How I used the Creality Ferret Pro 3D Scanner to make a Skid Plate out of Steel, for GM A-Body's", I'll show you how to use the Scanner, post process it on my PC, and then load it into CAD.
