 Part 1: Electronics & Comm. Engg/Mechanical Engg/Computer Science & Engg:
 Category I: Candidates should possess the requisite Essential Qualification (EQ) along with a
valid GATE Qualification.
OR
Category II: Candidates should possess the requisite Essential Qualification (EQ) from IITs/NITs
with minimum aggregate 80% marks

 Part 2: Electrical Engg/Material Science & Engg/Metallurgical Engg/Physics/Chemistry/Chemical Engg/Aeronautical Engg/Mathematics/Civil Engg/Instrumentation Engg/Material Science/Naval Architecture/Environmental Science &Engineering/Atmospheric Science/ Microbiology /Biochemistry:

GATE – Score and Engineering Degree in relevant Discipline

UPPER AGE LIMIT:
 Scientist ‘B’ DRDO: 28 Years
 Scientist ‘B’ DST: 35 Years
 Scientist/ Engineer ‘B’ ADA: 30 Years.

SELECTION PROCESS:
 Part 1:
 Written Exam – 80% Weightage
 Personal Interview -20% Weightage

 Part 2:
GATE-Score – 80% Weightage
Personal Interview – 20% Weightage

Interview Venue: at Delhi or any other place as decided by RAC/ DRDO.
Part 1:
 Written Examination will consist of two papers of 300 marks each, to be conducted in two sessions of duration of three hours each

 The syllabus of the examination (downloadable from RAC website) is similar to Engineering Services examination (Main) in the relevant discipline conducted by the Union Public Service
Commission (UPSC).

 The Written Examination is likely to be held on 16th October, 2022

PAY SCALE:
Level-10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix Rs. 88,000/- p.m.
