How to catch squid in the urban city. Auckland New Zealand, teaching two accomplished anglers to catch their first squid egi style.

The technique between the two disciplines, that being Eging and Soft baiting are very similar. Albeit, eging is done on a much more finesse scale, using lighter line and rods to impart action to squid jigs to entice the squid to your lure. Mike talks through some of the subtle differences and goes onto convert these snapper hardened veterans onto the way of the squid.
