The Quiet Man is a composition by Australian guitarist Peter O´Mara, dedicated to Canadian trumpeter & composer Kenny Wheeler. Performed live at the Unterfahrt Jazzclub in Munich on 1st October 2011 by the "Birth of the Cool" Nonett under the leadership of Matthieu Bordenave and features soloists Roger Jannotta on clarinet, Matthieu Bordenave on alto sax, Axel Schlosser on flugelhorn and Peter O´Mara on guitar. www.peteromara.com
