I shot this rare event on Christmas Eve (2010) early morning at Yala. It had just stopped raining and the wildboar were out to feast. I could smell the wildboar and the fresh death of the dear and its entrails. The grunts of the hungry boar were something memorable. I watched this for about 15 minutes. It was fascinating to observe the group dynamics of the pack. When the leader of the pack (always a male tusker) approached to eat the prey all the rest moved away. When he finished eating and moved away all the rest converged to have their feast. This happened intermittently. They only ate the inside entrails of the deer. Absolutely fascinating and lucky to have seen this!
