Milonga Trunca is a composition by Leonardo Suarez Paz, dedicated to his great friend, violinist Juan De Sanctis.
The word Trunca is well utilized in a folclore rhythm called Chacarera.
This is the first Milonga written in a contrapuntist way and with 3 different changes of pulse and a few rhythm key signatures.
Leonardo brings to the milonga composition the roots in a new fashion of Nuevo Tango with the freedom of expression and no boundaries.
This was the 2nd time that the piece was performed.
Cuartetango String Quartet:
Leonardo Suarez Paz 1st violin
