Ichigo's inner Hollow asks if Ichigo knows the difference between a king and his horse. If there are two beings with the same appearance, ability, and power, one becomes the king and the other becomes the horse. The reason for this is simple: instinct. The person who becomes king needs to want to fight, to want power, and to mercilessly crush his enemies. Ichigo's Hollow side accuses him of using reason to fight and feels that Ichigo cannot hurt anyone if his sword is still in its sheath. Claiming that this is why Ichigo is weaker, the inner Hollow throws his Zangetsu into Ichigo's abdomen. Ichigo's inner Hollow says that he will not let a king weaker than him ride on top of him, and since Ichigo is weaker, the Hollow is going to destroy him to become the king

🔹About Hollow Ichigo:
Zangetsu (斬月, Slaying Moon) is the manifested spirit of Ichigo Kurosaki's Zanpakutō as well as his inner Hollow. He has been variously called Hollow Ichigo (虚 (ホロウ) 一護, Horō Ichigo), more properly called The Hollow within Ichigo (一護の内面 (ないめん) の虚 (ホロウ), Ichigo no naimen no Horō) or White Ichigo (白一護, Shiro Ichigo).
Zangetsu is the result of the fusion between the Hollow White Ichigo inherited from his mother and the Shinigami powers he inherited from his father. He has stated himself to represent Ichigo's purest instincts.

“And I’m not talking about obvious stuff, like one’s and animal and one’s a person or one has two legs and one has four, form ability and power; that’s what’s puzzling, if there form, ability and power are exactly the same, why is it that one becomes the king and leads them to battle while the other becomes the horse and carries the king; so what’s the characteristics that distinguishes these two beings? There’s only one answer INSTINCT!”
“In order for identical beings to get stronger and gain power, they need to develop a killer instinct, and that instinct is mostly forged in battle!”
“They must develop an insatiable hunger to engage in battle; they must live to mercilessly crush, shred and slice their enemies, this thirst for power is not a unnatural desire, in fact it forms the very essence of our beings; deep within our body lies the whole instinct to dominate and slaughter our enemies. My friend you don’t have that, you try to use your brain to win a fight, you attempt to defeat your enemies with reason and logic, you don’t tap into those pure base instincts that exists within your core waiting to be released!” “And the simple matter is that it doesn’t work, your weak ICHIGO!, I won’t put up with that, am I clear?” “I don’t know about Zangetsu, but I refuse to play horse to a king who’s weaker than me, someone who’s uncertainty and hesitation will end up getting us both cut to pieces. If you aren’t willing to assert your strength and retain the crown, then I’ll destroy you.” Which mean’s I’ll be king.“- Hollow Ichigo.
