Kamboj, who has been associated with the BJP since the Jan Sangh era, expressed his discontent with the party's recent changes. He criticized the BJP for adopting a "Congress culture" and alleged that individuals who caused significant trouble were now being welcomed into the party and given tickets. Kamboj claimed that his efforts to bring the OBC community into the BJP were undermined and warned that the Congress would form the government while BJP's ambitions would remain unfulfilled.
