ITV's boss Dame Carolyn McCall has said Phillip Schofield's affair was “deeply inappropriate” because of the "imbalance of power."
Dame Carolyn is facing MPs about the broadcaster’s approach to safeguarding and complaint handling after Phillip Schofield’s exit from This Morning.
She also confirmed both men "repeatedly" denied the relationship, adding that if there had been proof the management team would not have "turned a blind eye to it".
