🎼 The story behind the song:

Hey guys :) ,

I am very proud to present you my next original piano composition "Journey of a Shooting Star"! =)

I know that it's been a very long time since I uploaded my last video, which is due to my study and issues with my PC - but I assure you that I will always keep uploading videos and that I'll improve on getting them out faster!

I'm already recording more songs right now and I'll publish them soon! :)


Concerning the song:

Well, actually I was working on a different new composition of mine but a few weeks ago I took a break and improvised for a bit.
All of a sudden, I had this melody stuck in my head and I had to complete it. :)

Compared to my recent compositions "Journey of a Shooting Star" is quite different for its structure is looser but this is exactly why I love it so much. :)
The melody and structure remind me of a Shooting Star floating through space before it hits the earth and shines brightly for an instance.

Anyway, I hope you will enjoy it! (:

🎼 A little short story:

"Journey of a Shooting Star" is about a meteor which got parted from its kind.

All alone it's floating through time and space.
It seems lost in eternity - simply existing but nothing else, when all of a sudden it gets gravitated towards a planet we call "Mother Earth".
The meteor gains speed as it draws closer to the earth.
What was an icy rock once becomes now a blazing hot force that is going to deflagrate any second.

Once it's deflagrated it will be gone forever - though, those people who gaze at the starry sky that night will make a wish and when that wish comes true, all of a sudden a simple lost meteor becomes a miracle that will always be remembered.
