Kaneto Shindô made a classic Japanese horror with his 1964 film, Onibaba. Is it scary by today's standards? Not really.
But it is an atmospheric delight of black and white photography and it gives us one of the better on screen horror icons with it's Noh theater inspired Demon mask.
An erotic ghost story with a deeply symbolic message about the effects of the Atomic bomb, Onibaba is a worth your time spookfest that has lasted the test of time.
