Baltimore City ended 2022 by surpassing 300 homicides for the eighth year in a row; 333 people were killed in the city and 688 other people were shot. According to Mayor Scott, the city saw a 5% reduction in non-fatal shootings in 2022 and he said he wants to see a 10% reduction in 2023.
