If you have one of these drives which requires a new power supply, maybe because the one fitted has failed, or maybe you have a drive which has a fixed voltage input for another region and you need to use it on another mains supply, then this video is for you.
There are a number of videos available which show how to do this, but my method is a little different, and I think makes for an easier job.
Parts I used in this video are low in price and it makes sense to repalce rather than repair or modify the old power supplies.
Makes the 1541 a bit lighter too!
The two drives I used in the video were both 120vac 60Hz input voltage.
Afterwards they are 100-240vac 50/60Hz.
