Stockholm is decorated with asthonishing architectural wonders from the Neo-Classicism period around the medieval centre Gamla Stan. Stockholm hosts the annual Nobel Prize ceremony at the Stockholm Concert Hall and the Stockholm City Hall. Other important buildings are the Vasa Museum, the Nordic Museum, the Admiralty House, the Eric Ericsonhallen, the German Church, the Katarina Church, the Marina Tower, the Sofia Church and the Royal Palace (Stockholm Palace) where the Swedish Monarch lives.
