... but what makes you a friend of Ahlulbayt (as)? What qualities do you have to have be considered a true friend? We think that as Shi'a we are immune from the enemies of Ahlulbayt (as) but what if in ourselves we possess that same cruelty towards others and hunger for power like those at Saqifa? What if we posses that same arrogance within us like Yazid? In order to be a friend of Ahlulbayt (as), first we must defeat the enemy that lives within us.
