The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and the Department of Public Safety (DPS) released preliminary traffic fatality numbers for 2017. While overall numbers are down to 273, an area of concern is distracted driving.
Throughout the months of January and February, the departments' Zero Fatalities campaign will push a new safety campaign aimed at reducing distracted driving. We're asking drivers everywhere to join the resistance and resist the urge to drive distracted.
