Night shift under midnight sun in Sweden
In order to disrupt traffic on the most frequented highway E4/E20 in Sweden as little as possible, our colleagues successfully lifted a 89 m, 140 ton pedestrian bridge south of Stockholm under clear midnight sun conditions. To do this, the road had to be closed for just nine hours. In total, HOCHTIEF is renewing a part of 21 kilometers of new highway of the Bypass Stockholm project.
