this is another example of one of sam's amazing clocks, although a little rough looking, this is a smith enfield Westminster chime mantle, presented in the hat style, as are so many clocks of this era. the chimes on this clock are extremely pleasant to listen to, and I'm sure everyone listening to this video will agree on this, I can't say for sure, but, I believe this clock to be of 1930s or so vintage, as smith and enfield had joined forces, to become smith enfield, before that, they had been seporate companies, producing their own unique clock designs. This clock we see here shows the combination of smith and enfield's work together to produce something unique and special in the clock world.
