Jesus repeatedly praised the faith of those seeking help from Him, but we can also see clearly that some work was also necessary such as determination and perseverance in seeking and approaching Jesus with humility (God does not like the proud) and sometimes with great difficulty, as He was most often surrounded by great crowds, and praying for His help and mercy with perseverance, confidence, humility and trust. It is clear the faith cannot exist without work.
