Bible study doesn't have to be confusing, frustrating or overwhelming. We are taking the stress out and bringing the joy by reading together. You can hear my thoughts and commentary so we can discuss. Hopefully, this makes it more realistic to be in the Word every day, by offering you Youtube videos, Podcast for on-the-go and fellowship with others.
Here's the discussion questions:
*Why do you think Matthew started with the genealogy of Jesus? What did this mean to the Israelites?
*What do you see about Gods grace in who He included and purposed?
*What do we learn about Joseph’s character? What would you have done? How can you handle tough situations this way and unexpected circumstances?
*Jesus means "God saves" - We read in Matthew 1 that, "He will save the people from their sins." What thoughts, questions or answers come up?
*Why is it significant that He was called Immanuel? How are you comforted by God wanting us to know that He is with us?
*How does Matthew 1 invite us to reflect on God’s sovereignty over history and His fulfillment of promises? What does it teach us about waiting on His timing?
Comment your responses and any questions you have, your favorite verses in the chapter, if anything stood out to you that I missed, or just show support!
We're in this together, walking through everyday life.
