The Bible - how we engage with and how we interpret it - is a central and contentious part of the conversation round the Living in Love and Faith proposals. Here we have a think about how to apply questions of context to Scripture and how this influences interpretation.
This talk is part of a series of short talks which reflect on just some of the issues that the LLF proposals raise. It is not intended to be an exhaustive or comprehensive study of Bible texts and scriptural insights. It is a very small piece of a much larger jigsaw but I hope it offers our church something of an insight into why I find myself on the more conservative side of the debate.
