September is prostate cancer awareness month. What does that mean for each and every one of us? Well it really depends on how close it hits home. Dealing with a diagnosis of prostate cancer can seem daunting and involved. However, with the continued development of novel technologies to treat prostate cancer in less invasive ways, while protecting our quality of life - we CAN make this a more surmountable obstacle to tackle. Imagine treating prostate cancer in an office setting, in under an hour is most cases, and then being able to walk out cancer free. Well this dream is becoming a reality @avanturology with the help of the office based Tranberg CLS prostate laser system and the FujiFilm Arietta 65 realtime high definition ultrasound system with eFlow. This video presents our early outcomes with this primary and salvage treatment option for men with prostate cancer. Let’s continue to make this dream a reality for men out there and spread the word of prostate cancer awareness to better help each and every prostate cancer patient out there. Even though we can make the technical aspects of treatment less challenging, how do we make the mental and psychological impact less of a burden?
