The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has marginally upgraded its forecast of global growth from October last year and according to its chief economist Pierre-Olivier Gourinchas on Tuesday, the Chinese economy will outpace global growth following its nationwide loosening of COVID-19 restrictions.
