Armenia Street Fried Kway Teow traces its roots all the way back to 1949.
It was started by Mr Tan Chong Chia from a street push-cart (in the vicinity of city hall) before settling in a coffeeshop at the corner of Armenian and Loke Yew Street. it has since relocated due to urban redevelopment and is now situated in a coffeeshop in North-East part of Singapore. The stall currently run by the same family prides itself in the same classic recipe for its loyal followers.
