Cork Airport is having a strong year with growth to date of 10% and on track to handle 2.6 million passengers in 2019. And just last week it won the top award for European airports in its class.
ITIC recently caught up with Niall MacCarthy, MD of Cork Airport, to talk about how the airport is a gateway to both the Wild Atlantic Way and Ireland’s Ancient East. Niall discusses the growth at Cork Airport, the importance of marketing campaigns and customer service, the impact of Norwegian’s Boeing problems, and the significant capex investment that is currently underway at Cork.
