Mangrove ecosystems are critical in the provision of goods and socio-economic services to coastal communities across the globe.
Save Our Mangroves Now (SOMN) is a joint commitment to upscale and focus global efforts to stop and reverse the degradation of mangrove habitats. Communities in Kenya are co-managing the mangrove forests with the Kenya Forest Services through Community Forest Associations.
