In a video message, Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia, Najma Akhtar told students that the entire university fraternity, including her, stands in solidarity with them and that she will take up the issue with higher authorities. She said videos of police forcefully entering the Jamia campus and targeting innocent students who were studying in the library was deeply disturbing.
