Wolverhampton Wanderers have signed midfielder Jean-Ricner Bellegarde from Strasbourg for a fee of £12.8m. The 21-year-old has agreed to a five-year deal with the Premier League club. Bellegarde has made 129 appearances for Strasbourg, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the first three matches of the current season. Matt Hobbs, the football director at Wolves, praised Bellegarde's athleticism, technical skills, and ability to drive with the ball. He also highlighted the player's excellent start to the season in terms of goals and assists. Bellegarde began his career at Lens, where he made 47 appearances and scored six goals.
