After making so many videos explaining good wincons and the methods to win more in pokemon, I thought I'd do a deep dive into a topic I'd never fully explained before: how to learn the matchups in pokemon, one by one. If there's any tip I like to give to improve at high ladder pokemon showdown gameplay, it's to stay smart and learn your matchups. This is true in any competitive setting, but especially so in a matchup driven game like pokemon singles.
