Fast Autobahn acceleration comparison between a 2014 Golf 7 GTD (184hp, 380Nm) and a Golf 7 2.0 TDI (150hp, 320Nm). For all of you that are interested in buying a Golf 7 with the big 2.0 TDI I think this comparison is quite interesting, as it shows if you should really upgrade to the GTD. Please note that these kind of comparisons only give a rough estimate on how these cars compare in real life. Many factors as wind direction, tire size,... will affect the result. Please also be aware that the GTD in this test only had the 6-speed manual while the 150hp TDI had the quick shifting DSG, which is an advantage to 100 km/h. My recommendation would actually be to go for the GTD as it has more power, and definitely the better pull-through, still with the same consumption as the 150hp TDI.
