New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has been mocked as “cringe” and “bizarre” after she was accused of putting on a fake new accent during her fiery Democratic National Convention speech.

The lefty congresswoman was ripped on social media in the wake of her rousing, minutes-long address to delegates in Chicago on the first night of the DNC — with many asking, “What accent is AOC using here?”
