Trials such as the KEYNOTE-189 (NCT02578680) and IMpower150 (NCT02366143) studies have demonstrated the efficacy of pembrolizumab or atezolizumab plus chemotherapy, respectively. Tremelimumab plus durvalumab, which was assessed in the Phase III POSEIDON study (NCT03164616), and cemiplimab have additionally given clinicians more choices in potential treatment regimens.
