Demonstration of the combination of ASTEC Soft Eye (GFRP rebar in D-Wall to allow breakthrough) and ASTEC Active Anchors (cuttable ground anchors that allow TBM to go through) positioned in the Soft-Eye are and used temporarily to stabilise ground during excavation phase and before breakthrough.
