Personally, Cinco de Mayo is so special to me because I grew up in San Diego very near the border of Mexico. We visited many times and the culture and food is embedded in who I am. It is also my birthday so I make sure that we celebrate in true style. I am so grateful for the people of Mexico and the beautiful and delicious things they share with us.
