This guy was considerate at first, but his attitude turned when I merged into primary position in front of him.

I got a toot and some words followed by "fucking prick", I think.

By me slowing down and letting him pass, he actually turned off later than he would have, had he remained behind me, as I would have kept up with the car in front.

edit: looks like licence plate could be LN56DAH instead of LN56OAH
