There was drama in Parliament on Tuesday moments before anti-finance bill protesters invaded parliament.

This is after Kisumu East MP Shakeel Shabbir protested in parliament, waving a placard that read, Reject Finance Bill 2023, only for the sergeant at arms to chase him down the floor and finally eject him.

Budalang'i MP Raphael Wanjala protested to Deputy Speaker Glady's Boss Shollei, who ruled him out of order, saying Shabbir's protest was unparliamentary.

The MPs were amending the Constitutional Finance Bill 2024.
