On April 8, 2015 at Convocation, North America's largest weekly gathering of Christian students, Carl Lentz, Pastor of Hillsong NYC, spoke from chapter five of Matthew about being salt and light. He continued to encourage students to occupy all streets and preach the gospel wherever you are no matter what. Lentz said that no matter what we are doing we should be representing the Gospel. He went on to share inspirational stories about little acts of faith going a long way to transform people and their families.
Carl Lentz attended Hillsong College where he mat his wife Laura and began doing full time ministry together. Him and his wife are passionate about growing the local church and sharing the gospel in a way that makes sense to the current generation. Carl and Laura are parents to three children in Manhattan.
