"A Little Kiss Each Morning (A Little Kiss Each Night)". Written by Harry M. Woods:
Harry Woods, who practised songwriting only as a sideline, wrote numerous 1920s standards, including "When the Red, Red Robin (Comes Bob, Bob, Bobbin' Along)", "I'm Looking Over a Four Leaf Clover", "Side By Side", and "Try a Little Tenderness". He composed his songs on piano, despite the fact that he was born without fingers on his left hand.

Vallée died of cancer at his home on July 3, 1986, while watching the televised centennial ceremonies of the restored Statue of Liberty. His wife, Eleanor, said his last words were: "I wish we could be there; you know how I love a party.
Lyrics:
We'll be so happy, we'll always sing
If we remember one little thing
A little kiss each morning
A little kiss each night
Who cares if hard luck may be ahead
An empty cupboard, a crust of bread
A little kiss each morning
A little kiss each night
Dreams may disappoint us
As they often do
Bring your tears to me, Dear
I'll bring mine to you
Though hair so golden may turn to grey
I'll call you "Sweetheart" and always say
A little kiss each morning
A little kiss each night
