This beautiful first generation Smith & Wesson Model 39 is in excellent plus condition. It's a "No dash" Model 39, indicating that the model number does not have a next generation tag to it, such as Model 39-2. As a first generation gun, it is a prized collector's item which my buddy will probably never part with. In this video, I go over a brief history of the S&W Model 39 as well as how it relates to the S&W Model 59, which came later. I also get to shoot it. That's the best part.
