Buses old and modern feature at Sywell Aerodrome as I paid a visit to Buses Festival.Plenty of space to enjoy the buses, Land Rovers and cars which attended and there were trips around the local area and to Wellingborough. With trade stands, guest speakers and live music from The Starlight Sisters there was plenty happening. Plenty of old and new buses of all makes from AEC, Bristol, Volvo and ADL were in attendance. I was lucky enough to travel down on TRY 122H a beautifully restored Bristol RE from Leicester City Transport which was a great way to start the day.
Hope you enjoy the film which starts with some of the buses arriving. I then take a look around at some of the buses on display and running trips. The Starlight Sisters performed songs from the 1940's to the 1960's and they can also be seen. Also there is a brief look at some of the planes at Sywell Aerodrome and there is also a museum which you can visit. Apologies for the wind in some shots. I have captioned most of the buses and coaches for identification.
