Tips for this Recipe:
- Feel free to Finely shred Cabbage. A bag of pre-shredded Coleslaw mix (minus the dressing) was used for this recipe... you get the added bonus of carrots and purple cabbage this way.
-The sesame seeds and almonds were slow roasted separately on low heat for a few minutes.
-The noodles used in this recipe were the Maruchan Chicken Flavor Pack where the seasoning was discarded and the noodles were crushed and then lightly dry roasted in a pan until light brown.
-You can prepare this salad ahead of time, chill and then add the toasted items right before serving.
-To make this recipe Vegan, omit the noodles all together- it still tastes great!
