PASIGHAT, Jan 06: A grand piping ceremony for the newly promoted officers of East Siang District was held on Monday at the IRBN headquarter Pasighat. The event marked the promotion of 158 police personnel.

SP East Siang District, Pankaj Lamba, congratulated the promoted officers during his address. He remarked, “The district police is like a family. Being a police officer and working 24x7 requires immense effort and dedication. The government has made an excellent decision to acknowledge this by promoting those who have worked diligently for decades. These promotions aim to motivate personnel and reward their hard work.”
He further emphasized, “The stars on your shoulders signify increased responsibility, and I am confident that you will continue to uphold discipline and meet the demands of your role with the same dedication. You should not self-doubt, as district police seniors will always be there to assist you. A meeting will soon be convened to address any concerns or questions of the newly promoted officers.”
