A short video answering a question that seems to get asked a lot; how to fix the excessive time drift on the cheap DS1307 RTC modules typically found on Amazon and eBay. These are often used by hobbyists and whilst the real fix is to simply buy the far superior (but more expensive) DS3231 it is possible to make a DS1307 as accurate as a DS3231.
This is simple - just read the time, introduce a delay and write the correct time back to the RTC. As these modules always gain time rather than loose it this is an easy fix.
