Hiriko Fold is a folding two-seat urban electric car being developed by Spanish consortium called Hiriko Driving Mobility. Its lithium-ion battery pack allows a range of 120 km (75 mi). Its maximum speed is 50 km/h (31 mph). Each of its four wheels has a drive motor and it can turn 60 degrees left or right, enabling the car to travel sideways, which makes parallel parking a very easy maneuver. Three Hiriko Fold cars fit in a typical urban parking space. Hiriko Fold will be sold in 2013 for around €12,500 (US$16,400). More information:
